Something very exciting happened in school last week…
Our brand new sandpits were opened and ready for the children to use during their playtimes.
As part of our OPAL play project, we have been working hard this year to transform playtimes for our children. We have opened up our playgrounds so the children are able to freely explore and all play together.
The children have enjoyed being able to play with their friends across the year groups with years 1 to 6 playing with each other.
They were using their imaginations in their play, pretending to did up fossils, burying treasure (and each other!) and building huge volcanoes and making them erupt!
We can’t wait to see what will be the next exciting developing in our playground so…what this space!
