On Wednesday 22nd June, 30 pupils and 4 members of staff embarked on an exciting journey as they set off on the annual residential trip. They spent 3 days in Wiltshire and were all looking forward to participating in a range of activities such as: rock climbing, zip wire, kayaking as well as enjoying the evening entertainment including a disco.
As you can see, they arrived safely, in beautiful weather!
Once the children had settled into their rooms, they had an action packed first day. Activities included fencing, trapeze and the zip wire!
After dinner, they had their evening activity which included team building games such as building towers out of shoes! By the end of the day, everyone was ready for a good night’s sleep.
Day 2 started with the vertical challenge before the children went on a long walk in the woods.
After an afternoon on the giant swing, the children then got ready for their disco, which they all thoroughly enjoyed.
Their last morning in Liddlington started with a delicious breakfast after which the group gathered together for their last morning of activities before boarding the coach for the journey home.
The children and staff had a fantastic time but are looking forward to going home to their families to tell them all about their adventurous 3 days.
