On Tuesday 20th July, Year 6 celebrated their graduation from Brentfield Primary School. Family, friends and staff gathered outside along with governors and a very special guest, George the Poet. George, who is an ex-pupil of Brentfield, gave a moving and thought provoking speech, encouraging the pupils to aim high, be BRAVE and be champions for tomorrow.
As the graduates made their way to the stage, friends and family looked on proudly. Despite it being a year full of challenges, there was much to celebrate. The pupils have shown great strength of character and resilience in their final year of primary school and it was wonderful to gather together to celebrate their successes.
Naysem and Nicholas, compared the ceremony, introducing our guest speakers, Mrs Harmer, Penny Witham and George the Poet. Yusuf and Amira reflected on their time at the school and the pupils gave a performance of their favourite poem before awards and certificates were shared.
Following the ceremony, pupils were able to share their memories with their families and friends.
Thank you to everyone who worked so hard to make the ceremony such a success.
We wish all of the year 6 pupils good luck in their new schools and wish them well for the future.
