Year 5 went on an exciting trip to Kew Gardens. The children explored the topic of plants which they have been studying this term. In Kew Gardens, they turned into scientists who solved problems, practised organisational skills, and observed the plants. The children saw how busy Kew Gardens can be and how many workers are involved in keeping it beautiful and fresh every day. After lunch, the children had a well deserved break in the newly opened Children’s Garden.
