Year 4 attended the ‘ASSEMBLY’ at Tate Modern recently.
The children explored modern art and answered a big question, “Why study Art?” Three words came out from our discussion prior to the trip that children felt very passionate about:
IMAGINE
CREATE
DISCOVER
At the gallery, we looked at motifs and repeated patterns in the collection. The children really enjoyed themselves and expressed their feelings towards Art, which was filmed and will be available to see on the Tate Modern website.
