In class the children have been learning about the story of the Farmer Duck and this week the children visited Sufra food bank and Kitchen to explore food and plants. They enjoyed seeing and petting the chicken, and found it fascinating to know how they provide us with eggs. They visited the edible garden, where they looked at compost and learnt how it changes to soil and provides food for the plants. The children enjoyed learning about different materials and which plants they can eat.
