Last week, some of our Year 6 pupils went on a residential trip to the Gordon Brown Centre in Hampshire.
When they arrived, after unpacking and having lunch, they spent the afternoon exploring the site and getting to know some of the animals.

The next day, in the bright sunshine, they spent time at the climbing wall and used the high ropes. We had some very brave children (and staff) in the group!

After lunch, they learnt how to build their own fire as part of their outdoor learning session. Once the fires were lit, they then cooked popcorn, which they all enjoyed.

That evening they had a camp fire, where they told each other stories, sang songs and had delicious mugs of hot chocolate.

On their final morning, they played archery and had a final game of laser tag before heading home.

As you can see, a fun time was had by all! Thank you to all of the staff who accompanied the children on the trip.
