On 20th September, Miss Hunter and some of the children from Year 6 launched our annual House Captain elections. Children in Year 6 have nominated each other for the prestigious role of becoming house captain for 2021-22. This is an extremely important role, which involves leading one of our four houses by being a positive role model and showing that they demonstrate our BRAVE values in all that they do and say. In addition to this, their job is to organise events to raise money for our nominated charities and encourage members of their houses to work together and go above and beyond to win the most house points, leading to a special end of term treat for the winning house!
Our four houses are:
Attenborough |
Farah |
Hawking |
Malala |
As part of the democratic process of electing our house captains, our nominees wrote their own manifestos, outlining the qualities that they have to fulfil the role and what they promise to do should they be elected. Throughout the week, pupils will be listening to the nominees presenting their manifestos and will vote for who they would like to represent them as house captain for the remainder of the year.
Our nominees are:
Attenborough

Farah

Hawking

Malala

The all-important count will take place on Friday 24th September 2021, with the winners being announced on Monday 27th September so…watch this space!
